Born into the automotive world as the son of Gary Moe himself, Dean Moe has spent his entire life immersed in the industry. After graduating from Notre Dame High School in Red Deer in 2000, he furthered his education at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, earning a diploma in Automotive Marketing along with his National Automotive Dealers Association Certificate. With 30 years of experience, Dean has worked in nearly every role within the dealership—starting from the wash bay and working his way up through parts, sales, and management before becoming a Dealer Principal. His journey has given him a deep understanding of every aspect of the business, reinforcing his commitment to exceptional customer service. Dean firmly believes in treating others the way he wants to be treated. As the industry has evolved—especially with the rise of the internet and growing consumer trust in brands—he remains dedicated to maintaining strong relationships between dealerships and customers. Looking ahead, he sees these relationships as the foundation of the future of car buying. While his passion for sales keeps him rooted in the automotive world, the best business advice he’s ever received is simple: “Achieving balance and stability in your personal/family life lays the foundation for success in your professional life.” For Dean, the most rewarding part of his job is seeing happy customers return, knowing they’ve found the perfect vehicle and a dealership they can trust for years to come.

Todd's journey into the automotive industry was anything but typical. After spending several years in the grocery retail world, he decided to take a bold step and pursue a career in car sales – a decision that would shape his future in ways he couldn’t have imagined. With over 15 years in the business, Todd has worked his way through many roles, from Sales Associate to Internet Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, and finally General Manager at Gary Moe Mazda. A proud graduate of school in Middleton, NS, Todd is committed to continuous growth and currently furthering his education at Georgian College’s Automotive Business School of Canada. His experience spans across many departments, including Service and Parts, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the industry and what it takes to deliver an exceptional customer experience. At the core of Todd’s leadership are values like integrity, transparency, and a customer-centric approach. He believes in the power of team development and strives for constant improvement, both personally and within the dealership. Above all, Todd recognizes the responsibility dealerships have to their communities, and he works hard to ensure Gary Moe Mazda remains a trusted and reliable source for all their customers’ automotive needs. Todd has seen firsthand the rapid changes in the automotive world, from the rise of new technologies and fuels to the increasing availability of information at the touch of a button. He’s excited about the future, where car buying will continue to evolve digitally, but he believes the “touch and feel” of a vehicle will always play a crucial role in the decision-making process. Showrooms, in his view, will become “Customer Experience Areas” where customers can explore, test, and finalize their purchase with confidence. When he’s not helping customers find their perfect ride, Todd says if he weren’t in the car business, he’d likely be thriving in another sales career. But for now, he’s found his true passion in the automotive world.

Elie’s journey into the automotive world started unexpectedly, but it’s been full of drive and determination ever since. While working as a cell phone salesperson during his college years, Elie caught the eye of an automotive manager who recognized his potential and offered him an opportunity in the car business. That moment sparked a passion that would carry him all the way to General Manager within the Gary Moe Auto Group. A proud graduate of Red Deer College (now Red Deer Polytechnic), Elie has deep roots in the community, having grown up in Red Deer and attended Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School. With over a decade of experience in the automotive industry, Elie’s journey has seen him take on multiple roles, from salesperson to Brand Champion, Finance Manager, Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager. Along the way, he’s honed his leadership skills and worked tirelessly to create a dealership focused on integrity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Elie believes in the importance of teamwork and transparency in building trust with both customers and employees. He’s passionate about fostering a dealership that is not only innovative but also deeply connected to the community. Having witnessed the transformation of the automotive industry, Elie is excited about the future of car buying, which is increasingly digital and personalized. He believes dealerships must blend online convenience with exceptional in-person service to meet evolving customer needs. When he’s not working on helping customers find their perfect ride, Elie often daydreams about a different career: professional snack taster. Traveling the world and sampling chips, cookies, and everything in between? Sign him up. For Elie, the best part of the job is seeing the joy on customers’ faces when they drive off in their perfect vehicle. After all, there’s nothing quite like the excitement of a new ride… especially when it comes with a full tank of gas!

From sales to parts, service, and beyond, Wes leads with the mindset that happy customers are the foundation of a successful business. Over the years, Wes has witnessed tremendous changes in the industry, from VHS players to automated driving. He also emphasizes the importance of evolving with customer priorities, especially in providing a seamless, transparent, and convenient buying experience for today’s time-conscious buyers. If Wes weren’t in the car business, he would have pursued a career as a police officer, drawn to the idea of making a difference and helping others. His leadership style reflects this same care, inspired by the best advice he ever received: “People never care how much you know until they know how much you care.” For Wes, the most rewarding part of his job is building relationships with customers. < BACK

Shaun is a second-generation car guy who grew up in the automotive industry. His journey began at an early age, inspired by his father, who is still in the business today. At just 11 years old, Shaun spent his days visiting his dad at Mountview Dodge—now the location of Gary Moe Dodge in Lethbridge—where he developed a deep passion for the industry. By 16, he was washing cars on weekends, and after high school, he worked in detail, accessories, and lot management at Bridge City Chrysler. In 2000, he officially started selling cars at a Dodge dealership in Red Deer, beginning a 25-year career dedicated entirely to the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands. Shaun moved to Medicine Hat in 2002 to join the sales team and quickly advanced through leadership roles. Within months, he was promoted to Finance Manager, then became Sales Manager in 2006, and ultimately, General Manager in 2019. Along the way, he furthered his education, graduating from NCM’s General Management Executive Program. As GM, Shaun prioritizes customer service, believing that looking after customers is the key to a successful business. He ensures his staff has the tools to succeed while fostering a fun and supportive work environment. He has seen major changes in the industry over the years, particularly in technology and safety, but believes one thing remains constant—customers want honesty, value, and great service long after the sale. Outside of the dealership, Shaun has a passion for motorcycles and once dreamed of becoming a professional motocross racer. While he can’t imagine doing anything other than being in the car business, he still enjoys riding whenever he can. The most rewarding part of his job is the relationships he’s built with customers, helping generations of families find their perfect vehicle and earning their trust as their go-to “car guy.” His best piece of business advice? “Don’t lie, because you’ll never have to remember what you said.”
