| Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control System
Standard on tucson V6 models is Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control System (TCS), a cutting-edge driving stability system designed to sense oversteer and understeer conditions. During unexpected and dangerous situations, it adjusts the braking power of each wheel to help restore the driver's course.

A 4-speed automatic transmission with shiftronic is standard on the GL V6 and Limited models and optional on the Tucson L and GL. You can choose fully automatic or manual sport shifting. |

| Airbags
All models come standard with dual front airbags. Tucson's advanced airbag system perfors a status check at start-up to ensure readiness. Front side-impact curtain and roof-mounted side-curtain airbags are standard on the limited, for added safety.
The Supplemental Restraint(Airbag) System(SRS) is designed to work with the 3-point seatbelt systsem. The SRS deploys in certain frontal and/or side-impact conditions where significant in jury is likely. The SRS is not a subsitute for seatbelts, which must still be worn at all times. Children under the age of 13 should be securely restrained in the rear seat. Never place a child-seat in the front seat of a Hyundai vehicle. |

Standard on all Tucson models is an Anti-Lock Braking System(ABS). During abrupt and hard braking , the brakes are automatically applied and released several times per second to help prevent tires from slipping due to wheel locking. |
