Airbags¹

Built-in standard safety technologies include six airbags – Front Dual Advanced; Front Seat-mounted Side-impact and Roof-mounted Side-curtain airbags. This Supplemental Restraint System, offers you and your family best-ever protection.

Transmission

Entourage is equipped with a 5-speed Automatic Transmission with SHIFTRONIC™ which allows you the option of clutchless manual shifting for that invigorating, sporty feel and added control.

Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control System

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control System (TCS) is now a standard safety advantage with Entourage. It’s a cutting-edge driving stability system designed to sense oversteer and understeer conditions, adjusting the braking power of each wheel to help keep you on course, safely. Extra protection is yours during unexpected and dangerous situations.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control System (TCS) are meant to enhance conscientious driving habits and are not a substitute for safe driving practices.

Door Safety Sensors

Little fingers and toes are that much safer with Entourage’s anti-pinch door sensors that automatically prevent the power rear sliding doors from closing when they shouldn’t. Standard on GL, GLS and Limited models.

Unibody Construction

Entourage’s unibody construction is intelligently engineered to absorb collision energy while protecting all occupants. While its high-tensile steel provides overall structural integrity, its front and rear crumple zones, body-side reinforcements, hood-buckling creases and steering column work together to divert energy away from you and your loved ones.

Child-Seat Anchors

Entourage offers child-seat anchors – LATCH, which is an attachment system for child-seats available in both second and third row seats, providing accurate installation with ease – every time. Child-proof rear door locks and rear child-seat tether anchors (outside seats, second and third rows) further underline our commitment to safety.

Active Head Restraints

Entourage comes equipped with active head restraints in the front row, which greatly reduce the possibilities for neck and head injuries. Should your Entourage experience a rear-end collision, the occupant's weight is thrust onto the backrest which automatically shifts the headrest forward, protecting you from the collision’s sudden force. Entourage also provides additional support through adding adjustable headrests in the second and third rows.

¹ The Supplemental Restraint (Airbag) System (SRS) is designed to work with the 3-point seatbelt system. The SRS deploys in certain front end impact conditions where significant injury is likely. The SRS is not a substitute for seatbelts which must still be worn at all times. Children under the age of 13 should be securely restrained in the rear seat. NEVER place a rear-facing child seat in the front seat of a vehicle with a passenger-side airbag.
