Cold winter mornings are bearable thanks to Azera's heated power-adjustable front seats. For an added measure of luxury and comfort, Azera's seats are upholstered in leather. The Integrated Memory System (IMS) on the Limited will recall just how you like your driver's seat set as well as exterior mirrors and tilt and telescoping steering wheel.

Azera's tilt and telescoping steering wheel adjusts to ensure your comfort. Wrapped in leather, it also features cruise and audio controls so you never have to take your hands off the wheel. Limited also comes with the added touch of woodgrain accents.

Azera's audio and climate controls ensure you stay entertained and comfortable on all journeys. An AM/FM/XM/CD/MP3 audio system with six speakers is standard on the GLS while the Limited includes an in-dash Infinity® 6-Disc CD Changer/AM/FM/XM/MP3 audio system with 10 speakers in 8 locations. Both systems include 3 months of XM Satellite service for free. Dual-zone automatic climate control is included in all models.

Engine

Every model is equipped with a 3.8L, 24-valve, DOHC, V6 engine with 263 horsepower. With a weight-saving all-aluminum cylinder block, Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) and Variable Intake System, you’re guaranteed to have an exhilarating ride.

Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control System

Standard on Azera is Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control System (TCS), a driving stability system designed to sense oversteer and understeer conditions. During unexpected and dangerous situations, it adjusts the braking power of each wheel utilizing the Traction Control System to help restore the driver’s course.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control System (TCS) are meant to enhance conscientious driving habits and are not a substitute for safe driving practices.

Transmission

Dual-mode 5-speed Automatic Transmission with SHIFTRONIC™ is included on all Azera models. You can choose fully automatic or manual sport shifting.

Airbags¹

All models proudly feature eight airbags to protect all passengers. They include two advanced front airbags, two front and two rear seat-mounted side-impact airbags and two rear roof-mounted side-curtain airbags.

Active Head Restraints

Included on all Azera models are front seat active head restraints. Utilizing the occupant’s weight thrust onto the backrest when the vehicle is rear-ended, the headrest automatically shifts forward, reducing injuries to the head and neck

Anti-lock Braking System with EBD and BA

Every Azera features the peace of mind of an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) that prevents tires from slipping due to wheel locking. In addition, Brake Assist (BA) responds to panic braking by adding braking power and, when used together with ABS, can result in a 20-45% reduction in stopping distances.

Suspension

All models feature double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars and twin-tube gas shock absorbers.

Wheels

Azera Limited’s distinctive styling and performance are enhanced by 10-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels, while GLS models are equipped with 5-spoke, 16-inch alloy wheels.

¹ The Supplemental Restraint (Airbag) System (SRS) is designed to work with the 3-point seatbelt system. The SRS deploys in certain front end impact conditions where significant injury is likely. The SRS is not a substitute for seatbelts which must still be worn at all times. Children under the age of 13 should be securely restrained in the rear seat. NEVER place a rear-facing child seat in the front seat of a vehicle.
